The UK is well past the point where revolution is needed. If they tried this here we’d start shooting and kill Democrats and the Left and Deep State low lifes all across America. But they disarmed the Brits in 1997. Always remember that ALL governments that want to control guns or disarm you, intend on doing things to you and your family that you would shoot them for. Therefore – if they try here, YOU can save freedom by opening fire and fighting, then millions will join in as America erupts into the Second American Revolution. Just a prediction…. that we will go extreme violence and completely destroy the Left. And the RINO scum that helps them now.
Elon Musk’s post may sound provocative, but it captures a growing reality that many Europeans recognize and few leaders are willing to admit. The United Kingdom increasingly treats speech as a criminal matter rather than a civil liberty. Citizens are questioned, charged, fined, and in some cases imprisoned not for violence, but for words, posts, or opinions that fall outside an ever narrowing window of acceptable expression. A country that once exported free speech traditions now exports police warnings for tweets. This is not an isolated British problem. Germany has gone even further, embedding speech enforcement into law and bureaucracy. Thousands of cases are pursued every year under expansive hate speech and insult statutes.
Police raids over online comments have become normalized. Courts treat opinions as offenses. The result is a culture of fear where citizens self censor to avoid legal trouble. This is not democracy. It is administrative coercion dressed up as social responsibility. The European Union has played a central role in this decline. Through digital regulation, speech codes, and pressure on platforms, Brussels has pushed a model where centralized authorities decide what may be said. The EU claims to protect democracy while systematically undermining its most basic prerequisite. Free expression cannot exist when disagreement is criminalized and dissent is framed as danger. What makes this moment different is that platforms like X no longer cooperate quietly with this model. Musk has exposed how governments attempt to outsource censorship by forcing platforms to do what states prefer not to do openly.
When X resists, it reveals the true intent behind these laws. Control of speech is the goal. Safety is the excuse. The irony is hard to miss. Europe lectures the world about values while abandoning the very freedoms that once defined it. Citizens are told they live in free societies while watching neighbors investigated for jokes, opinions, or historical interpretations. A prison does not require bars when fear does the work. Free speech is not a fringe issue. It is the foundation that allows all other rights to exist. Once speech is regulated by ideology, justice follows ideology. Once courts punish opinion, power no longer answers to the people. That is the road Europe is choosing, one regulation at a time. @ElonMusk ’s blunt language cuts through the pretense. When words become crimes and platforms are forced into compliance, the label fits. If Europe wants to be taken seriously as a defender of liberal democracy, it must reverse course.
