Jeb Boasberg not only refuses to cooperate with Congress’ early stages of potential impeachment procedures–a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing scheduled for later today has been postponed for some reason–he won’t even answer on his own basic questions about his authorization of gag order on subpoenas for members of Congress. And this is HILARIOUS. Boasberg has been demanding for months details about the internal deliberations related to the president’s invocation of the Alien Enemies Act, including refusal to return planes carrying AEA subjects already out of US airspace on March 15–he has set a court ordered deadline of Friday for every Trump administration involved to submit a written declaration to defend their decision making. This response–not by Boasberg, to whom the letter was addressed but by the director of the administrative office of the US courts whatever the hell that is–should result in a subpoena for Boasberg and the immediate defunding of DC federal court system
