I never thought defunding the Taliban would be this hard under a Republican Congress. Same resistance as under Democrats. HR 260 is now stalled in Senate Foreign Relations committee chaired by Republican @SenatorRisch of Idaho.

- Taliban payments are a repeat of Ukraine. It’s a money-laundering scheme in which money goes through NGOs for Taliban aid and then is partially kicked back to Congress members as reelection donations. That’s why the Senate is holding it back. The Money Train is running again. – Action
- That $ is taken from hardworking people of all ages paychecks – we are having to do with less to fund terrorists!!! This is INSANE – we need to figure out how to repeal the16th amendment-polititcians has proven they cannot be responsible with OUR money – DLB
- FFS! It appears that just like 9/11, they have chosen to forget all of our American military personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice for their BS! Wasn’t enough to leave them with all of our military equipment? – Flying Eagle
- If we can afford to send $40 million dollars per week to the Taliban in Afghanistan, then we can take that $40 million and invest it back into America. How about we take that $40 million per week and invest it into our homeless veterans? They deserve it more than the Taliban. -Julie Miller
