At elite institutions like New York’s Bank Street School, under diversity director Anshu Wadhwa since 2013, young white kids as early as six are separated and scolded about America’s “history of racism,” leaving them in tears, feeling like “bad people.”
Parents report curricula obsessed with “what whites have done to other races,” breeding resentment and guilt without a single cupcake in sight for the white group. This insidious program, widespread in progressive states like New York, Colorado, Massachusetts, and Wisconsin, is the latest front in the woke left’s assault on American values, turning classrooms into re-education camps. The roots of this division lie in critical race theory (CRT), a toxic ideology peddled by Democrats and leftist academics that labels whites as inherent oppressors and non-whites as perpetual oppressed heroes.
Racial separation in schools exacerbates this, reviving segregation under the guise of “affinity groups” to “fight discrimination.” In Manhattan’s Lower Lab School, 7th and 8th graders were sorted by race for social justice talks, with whites isolated to confront their “privilege” while others bonded over shared “oppression.” Dozens of districts nationwide offer staff racial affinity groups, defying Trump-era orders against such division.
