The post, which garnered over 14,000 likes and thousands of reposts, lambasts Masino and Moore for pushing a rebrand that strips away the chain’s folksy, country charm in favor of a sterile, modern look that screams coastal elite disdain for heartland America.
Critics argue this isn’t just a logo tweak—it’s a deliberate assault on the conservative, family-oriented base that made Cracker Barrel a staple of road trips and Sunday dinners. By prioritizing trendy, progressive aesthetics over the rocking chairs and checkerboards that evoked nostalgia, Masino has alienated the very people who kept the company afloat. Shares plummeted as backlash mounted, proving once again that when executives inject their left-wing politics into business, disaster follows. As one X user aptly put it, these woke CEOs hire in, rake in millions, destroy the brand with leftist nonsense, and then bail with golden parachutes, leaving devastation in their wake.
Take Bud Light, the king of beers that ruled backyard barbecues until marketing VP Alissa Heinerscheid decided to partner with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney in a tone-deaf campaign celebrating “365 days of girlhood.” Heinerscheid, a Harvard-educated elite with a penchant for mocking Bud Light’s “fratty” core audience, thought shoving progressive politics down drinkers’ throats would “evolve” the brand. Instead, it sparked the most successful boycott in history, with sales nosediving over 20% and Anheuser-Busch losing billions in market value. Heinerscheid was fired, but not before her anti-MAGA hubris—dismissing the brand’s blue-collar, Trump-supporting fans—cost hundreds of jobs and turned Bud Light into a punchline.
