This phenomenon isn’t isolated; it’s a symptom of a broader fake news ecosystem that promotes false stories to demonize conservatives, particularly former President Donald Trump, and advance a radical agenda. As the post asks, “How is this even possible??” The answer lies in the relentless propaganda from biased media sources that prioritize ideology over truth, creating echo chambers where lies fester unchallenged.
Drawing from this post as a starting point, this article explores the top lies that Democrats still cling to, fueled by fake news. We’ll begin with the examples provided and expand to others uncovered through conservative analyses. These hoaxes aren’t harmless; they divide the nation, erode trust in institutions, and manipulate voters. Only by exposing them with a right-wing perspective—rooted in individual liberty, limited government, and factual accountability—can we combat the disinformation machine.

Officer Brian Sicknick Was Killed on January 6th:One of the most egregious lies from the post is the claim that Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick was beaten to death by Trump supporters during the January 6, 2021, events. Democrats and their media allies initially reported this as fact, painting the day as a deadly insurrection where multiple officers were murdered. In reality, Sicknick died of natural causes—a stroke—the day after, as confirmed by the medical examiner. No officers were killed that day by protesters; the only direct fatality was Ashli Babbitt, an unarmed veteran shot by Capitol Police. Yet, fake news outlets like CNN and MSNBC ran with the narrative to inflate the “insurrection” hoax, leading millions of liberals to believe Trump orchestrated mass murder.
2. Kyle Rittenhouse Killed Black People: The post points out the absurd belief that Kyle Rittenhouse, the teenager acquitted in self-defense after the 2020 Kenosha riots, targeted and killed black individuals. Fake news portrayed him as a white supremacist vigilante hunting minorities, but all three men he shot—Joseph Rosenbaum, Anthony Huber, and Gaige Grosskreutz—were white. Rittenhouse was defending himself amid chaos incited by BLM riots, yet media like CNN amplified the racial angle to stoke division. This lie persists among Democrats, who ignore the trial evidence showing clear self-defense, because it fits their narrative of systemic racism under Trump.
3. The “Very Fine People” Hoax: Perhaps the most infamous distortion mentioned is the “very fine people” hoax from Trump’s 2017 Charlottesville press conference. Democrats believe Trump called neo-Nazis “very fine people,” but he explicitly condemned them, saying, “I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally.” The “fine people” referred to peaceful protesters on both sides debating Confederate statues. Snopes, a left-leaning fact-checker, even debunked this in 2024, yet Biden and Harris repeated it to launch their campaigns. Fake news clipped the quote to manufacture racism, and liberals ate it up.
4. The Russian Collusion Hoax: The post rightly calls out the Russian collusion narrative as a hoax. For years, Democrats believed Trump was a Putin puppet who stole the 2016 election through collusion. This stemmed from the Steele dossier, a pack of lies funded by Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Special Counsel John Durham’s report exposed the FBI’s complicity in pushing unverified claims, and media like The New York Times and Washington Post won Pulitzers for misleading coverage they later refused to return. Networks devoted thousands of minutes to the story, only to bury exonerations. This big lie undermined a presidency and sowed distrust in elections.
5. Hunter Biden’s Laptop Was Fake: Finally, from the post, the claim that Hunter Biden’s laptop was “Russian disinformation.” Democrats dismissed the 2020 New York Post story as fake, with 51 intelligence officials signing a letter suggesting Kremlin involvement. Big Tech censored it, but the laptop was real, containing evidence of Hunter’s corruption and Joe’s potential involvement. Media like CNN echoed the disinformation line, helping suppress a story that could have swayed the election. Liberals still downplay it as irrelevant, ignoring the national security implications. Expanding the List: More Fake News-Fueled Lies: Beyond the post’s examples, conservative outlets have chronicled dozens of additional hoaxes that Democrats swallow whole, thanks to a complicit press. These stories often target Trump and conservatives, promoting fear and justifying leftist policies.
6. Border Patrol Agents Whipped Haitian Migrants: In 2021, media falsely claimed U.S. Border Patrol agents on horseback “whipped” Haitian migrants at the border, evoking slavery imagery. Biden vowed punishment, but photos showed reins, not whips, and an investigation found no whipping occurred. Democrats believed this to attack Trump’s border policies, ignoring the chaos under Biden-Harris.

7.Trump Wants to Cut Social Security and Medicare: Kamala Harris claimed at the 2024 DNC that Trump plans to slash these programs via Project 2025. In truth, Trump has vowed no cuts, including to retirement age, and his platform protects them. Project 2025 doesn’t advocate cuts either, disappointing some conservatives. This lie scares seniors into voting Democrat.
8. Project 2025 Is Trump’s Plan to Destroy Democracy: Democrats portray Project 2025—a Heritage Foundation policy blueprint—as Trump’s fascist manifesto, claiming it ends families without a working dad and stay-at-home mom, cuts entitlements, and more. Trump disavowed it, and it’s a standard conservative wish list published since 1981. Media hype turned it into a boogeyman to fearmonger.
10. Covington Catholic Kids Were Racist Aggressors:In 2019, media smeared Covington High School students, especially Nick Sandmann, as racists for “smirking” at Native American Nathan Phillips during a D.C. march. Full video showed Phillips approached them, banging a drum, while the teens were harassed by others. CNN settled a defamation suit, but the lie fueled anti-Trump hate.
12. Ivermectin Is Just Horse Dewormer: Media ridiculed conservatives for using ivermectin against COVID, calling it “horse paste” and fabricating stories of hospital overloads from overdoses. It’s FDA-approved for humans, and the overdose tale was debunked. Democrats mocked it to discredit alternative treatments and enforce vaccine mandates. The Deep State was behind this scam 100% as they wanted to defeat president Trump in the 2020 election and could not do this without millions more fake ballots, that they ended up deploying to scam the election and elect their puppet Joe Biden. They even went after Joe Rogan and were crushed by him and all of the Right like Whatfinger News, for their BS.
These lies demonstrate a pattern: fake news crafts narratives to vilify conservatives, and Democrats, insulated in their bubbles, accept them without question. The result? A polarized nation where truth is sacrificed for power. As conservatives, we must demand accountability, support independent journalism, and educate others. Only then can we dismantle the propaganda machine. Today, as more and more people continue to find out about the massive propaganda machine used against them by the Democrats and the Deep State (Project Mockingbird), they will continue to decline in the polls and more importantly in reality as many polling groups are also Democrat controlled and pump out total fabrications. We’d name names here, but we would be sued for it.
