Leftist Therapists’ War on MAGA: Indoctrination Masquerading as Mental Health Care

In the post above, Dilbert creator Scott Adams posed a provocative question: “Are all therapists mentally ill or is that an illusion?” This quip was in response to an explosive exposé revealing a training session for mental health professionals that brands the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement as a “cult on a national scale” hell-bent on restoring “white majority and white power.” The training, detailed in The Post Millennial, instructs therapists to view Trump supporters—even their own patients—as cult members trapped in a racist delusion. This isn’t just fringe lunacy; it’s a symptom of how leftist ideology has hijacked therapy across the U.S., turning sessions into echo chambers of anti-white, anti-conservative bigotry. As conservatives like Adams highlight, the Left’s racism is seeping into every corner of mental health, demonizing half the country while projecting their own prejudices onto patriotic Americans.

The training in question, titled “The Impact of Donald Trump on America – A Cultic Studies Perspective,” was held on August 7, 2025, and offered continuing education credits to therapists. Led by far-left activists posing as experts—Dr. Jamie Marich (she/they/we pronouns), Dr. Janja Lalich, and Heather LS Scarsboro (they/them/we)—it explicitly violates ethical guidelines by urging professionals to inject political activism into treatment. Lalich, a former member of a Marxist cult, declared MAGA a cult “grounded in racism,” claiming supporters want to “get rid of the black and brown people.” She ranted that the U.S. was “built on racism” and that MAGA followers don’t care about economic issues like egg prices but solely about expelling minorities.

Without a shred of evidence, she smeared Mexican Trump supporters as “illiterate” and lacking “critical thinking.” Marich piled on, blaming “toxic capitalism” and “misogyny” for Trump votes, suggesting women who back him either hate themselves or are controlled by their husbands. Scarsboro, who openly advertises her dissociative identity disorder, claimed trauma victims support Trump because it feels “normal” to their “chaotic abusive” nervous systems. This isn’t therapy; it’s indoctrination. The instructors compared Trump to Hitler, Mao, and Pol Pot, accused him of authoritarianism for winning a defamation lawsuit against ABC’s fake rape claims, and urged resistance like protests and boycotts. They even attacked The Heritage Foundation as the “lynchpin” of this supposed cult.
While admitting cults exist on both sides—Lalich confessed to her own left-wing cult experience—they hypocritically dismissed accusations against themselves as “defense tactics.” Therapists were advised to signal leftist values with trans flags and BLM slogans on their websites, use motivational interviewing (typically for addicts) on Trump supporters, and prioritize their own “self-care” over client needs. Ethical prohibitions against deeming political beliefs “dysfunctional” were ignored, turning mental health into a weapon against conservatives. This MAGA-as-cult narrative exposes the Left’s deep-seated racism, obsessing over “white power” while ignoring the diverse coalition behind Trump.

Polls show growing Hispanic and black support for MAGA, yet leftists like these instructors reduce it to bigotry. It’s projection: The real cult is the woke Left, dominating institutions like therapy to enforce ideological conformity. As National Review reported, mental health professionals are pushing back against “woke therapy,” where patients fear judgment based on ideology. Some have opened alternative practices free from leftist bias, recognizing that politicized care harms everyone. The Federalist has chronicled how leftist extremism turns therapists against non-woke clients, exacerbating stress and isolation for conservatives who need help but face antagonism instead.

The Radical Takeover: How Democrats Morphed into Socialists and Communists

The bias runs deep. Back in 2017, The Federalist warned that therapists reinforcing clients’ Trump fears were hurting them, amplifying hysteria rather than providing neutral care. By 2018, the outlet highlighted how mental health experts’ unhinged anti-Trump rants damaged public trust and patient well-being. Fox News exposed Yale psychiatrist Bandy Lee’s advice to cut off pro-Trump family members, a “moral issue” echoed by “The View” co-host Sunny Hostin—essentially family therapy turned into political excommunication. This isn’t healing; it’s division, with leftists using therapy to label conservatives as deranged while ignoring their own Trump Derangement Syndrome. Nationwide, the Left’s grip on therapy fosters anti-white racism under the guise of “anti-racism.” Heritage Foundation analyses show how Critical Race Theory (CRT) infects institutions, making race the lens for everything and promoting identity politics that hurt minorities by perpetuating victimhood.  Continued after this next clip

Some humor on these Leftist TDS nut case…

National Review debunked “implicit racism” tests as bogus science used to divide Americans and justify racial preferences—tools leftist therapists wield to guilt-trip white clients. In academia and therapy, this leads to intolerance: Cornell students faced harassment for calling out liberal bias on Fox News. Even gender ideology creeps in, with Heritage warning against federally mandated “woke” policies that sideline parents and push experimental treatments on kids. The racism here is blatant: Leftists assume white conservatives are supremacists, while dismissing minority Trump supporters as dupes or self-haters. Lalich’s claim that MAGA wants a “white majority” ignores Trump’s policies benefiting all Americans, like record-low minority unemployment. Instead, it’s the Left obsessing over race, as seen in their attacks on border security—Lalich wants to “challenge ICE in every state,” branding enforcement racist.

Fox News reported Dr. Phil’s tense clash with Bill Maher over ICE raids, where leftists smeared enforcement as “unpopular” bigotry. This domination of therapy by leftist racism erodes trust. A 2022 National Review piece described media as “group therapy for liberals,” encouraging fringe views that alienate the Right. Conservatives face a Catch-22: Seek help and risk indoctrination, or suffer in silence. As The Federalist noted, politicized therapy isolates non-woke individuals, worsening mental health crises. Heritage calls for repealing laws like the FACE Act, seen as ideological weapons against pro-life views, mirroring how therapy weaponizes against MAGA. Trump’s administration fights back, advancing religious freedom and parental rights against woke overreach. But the Left’s therapy cult persists, training professionals to see patriotism as pathology. As Adams implies, perhaps the therapists need help— from their own illusions of moral superiority. Until conservatives reclaim mental health from this racist grip, millions will suffer under the Left’s divisive “care.”
