In reality, slavery originated in Africa thousands of years before America existed. Slavery has been practiced in Africa for 4700 years. Slavery was imported from Africa to the west. America and England were the First Nations to ABOLISH slavery. Slavery is still practiced in Africa today. There are an estimated 7 million people in slavery in Africa in 2025.
