New York, July 19, 2025 — In a bombshell appearance on Fox & Friends this morning, former Congresswoman and Army veteran Tulsi Gabbard unveiled a trove of declassified documents implicating the Obama administration in what she called a “treasonous conspiracy” against then-President-elect Donald J. Trump. Gabbard corrected by name multiple times as “Tolsey” by host Rachel Campos-Duffy, laid out the chronology and gravity of what she described as a “years-long coup.” “These documents show that in the months before the 2016 election, the intelligence community assessed Russia had neither the tools nor intent to affect the election outcome,” Gabbard said. But according to her, this truthful assessment was intentionally withheld—a final intelligence briefing was pulled just hours before presentation to the President. The next day, President Obama called a National Security Council meeting.
“That meeting led to the creation of a manufactured intelligence report alleging Russian interference,” she explained, “and that false document became the basis for the Mueller investigation, endless lawsuits, and two impeachments—all built on lies.” Gabbard didn’t mince words: “It was a coup before Trump was even sworn in. They cooked up a treasonous conspiracy because they didn’t want to accept the will of the people.” Host Rachel Campos-Duffy praised Gabbard’s courage and pressed further, asking whether Barack Obama himself could face charges. “Will someone that high up finally be held accountable?” Gabbard responded: “We’ve referred all these documents to the Department of Justice. No one—no matter how powerful—should be above the law. This goes to the very foundation of our republic.” She compared the scandal to the Bush-era WMD intelligence failure, saying this new revelation “has even greater impact” because it undermines faith in our constitutional system. Campos-Duffy closed the segment by calling Gabbard a “patriot,” thanking her for making the documents public: “We can’t weaponize our intelligence agencies against political enemies. That is wrong—and the consequences are huge.” Gabbard’s final words were a rallying cry: “There must be accountability. The American people deserve the truth, or our republic cannot survive.”
