At this time, law enforcement and homicide detectives are investigating the discovery of what was initially believed to be human remains found outside a gas station in Victorville, California, officials said. The gruesome discovery was made just after noon, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. A caller reported spotting an object that resembled human remains near the property. Deputies arrived on the scene, cordoned off the area with yellow crime scene tape, and requested the presence of detectives and coroner’s officials to assist in the investigation. Images appeared to show the teddy bear covered in what looked like skin or flesh, prompting widespread concern and speculation. Authorities have not yet confirmed the nature of the remains, and the investigation remains ongoing.
