• As of Wednesday, June 18, 2025, President Donald Trump has not officially approved a U.S. military strike plan against Iran, but he has been actively reviewing options and consulting with senior advisers in the Situation Room. According to reports, Trump has not yet given the final go-ahead for an attack on Iran’s Fordow nuclear enrichment facility, though military plans have been prepared and discussed with top officials, including Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
• For what it’s worth the IAEA (international atomic energy agency) who insisted and were proven right that Iraq had no nuclear weapons and no nuclear program to speak of, have come out very strongly that Iran does have a nuclear program. That they were astonished about its progress. And it’s no longer a matter of them being perpetually three to five years away rather. They have the ability right this second and it’s really just a matter of them ‘flipping a switch’ to take that extra step and can produce one bomb worth of material at a rate of about every 3 days for 2 months. Reason argued that if they’ve worked that hard to achieve weapons grade uranium, they would have certainly been developing or have purchased from someone a warhead to put the core in. Unless they just plan on doing the dirty bomb route.
• Trump doesn’t want to get involved in foreign wars either, but he also said Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. Peace through strength means sometimes we may have to use that strength. If he gets involved directly then I trust it’s because he absolutely had to. Supporters so quick to turn on Trump when things actually get tough. Have some faith!
• I thought he ran on no new wars ? I have never voted cause I always assumed it didn’t matter who’s in office. Meet the new boss same as the old boss. And generally this has turned out true. Well once again it’s gonna turn out true again. No matter who’s in office the military industrial complex wins out. We are ran by corporations not politicians.
