- I am so happy/proud that I chose (made the decision as a teen and found an AMAZING husband who wanted the same thing ie: A Traditional Family! I’ve been to stay at her mom since the end of my pregnancy with my first born over 28 years ago. Even though I enjoyed my career, I chose to be the “traditional homemaker” that does the cooking/cleaning etc while my husband works hard and became an outstanding provider. I then chose to homeschool all three of my girls for majority of their adolescence, each of them did attend public schools(HS) for a few yrs… thankfully we live in a conservative suburb(very blue state tho). I am so blessed to have met my husband at 21 years old , I found out on our first date that he wanted all of the same traditional family values that I did which made it even easier to fall deeply in love with him quickly… we are now nearly 32 years in, and I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world! – Awaken the Masses
