- I am a factory worker and I am very proud of the work I do! I make medical parts for hospitals and for firefighter helmets and other medical devices that help with diabetes or people on dialysis etc. everyday i go into work I feel satisfied knowing the products I’m making are helping people around the world. Please don’t look down on factory workers we produce the goods you use!

- Gen X. Married at 23. We moved out as SOON as possible. Lived wherever, with roommates if necessary. Unmarried friends did not live at home. Had other friends that married at age 20. We were not treated as children. We were expected to make decisions. We didn’t have heavily restricted drivers licenses that restricted how many hours we could work as teens. What is with delaying everyone’s adulthood?
- I’m 33, work as a Bartender. Let me tell you these 22 years old’s aren’t the same as they used to be. I was a manager at 22 just like you said, I was a hard worker even if it was the service industry. These 22 years old now a days have no motivation, are horrible workers, we keep firing them and try to focus hiring older if we can. Every young kid we hire for my restaurant has been a net negative. From behavior problems, threatening our guests because they have different political opinions, even stealing full bottles of alcohol. They just don’t want to work, try, or have any accountability when you discipline them.
- This is a good example of the teacher telling their students they need to go to college because they don’t want to end up like a garbage man. Meanwhile said garbage man is making twice as much as the teacher talking down to said garbage man. Or trade schools like welders or electricians who are making 3 or 4 times as much as the teachers.
- Young people have grown up online. They see how life is a struggle without money, that getting up and working overtime every week, still has you broke and juggling bills. It’s sad. Liberals and Dems have forgotten who they are supposed to care about. We can’t all be millionaires and or highly educated, who will do the jobs the rich and educated won’t do? It’s all crumbling due to greed for some and despair for many.
