- Ai is a great creative helping tool. It’s like having a friend you can ask to help you creatively but doesn’t get offended by you constantly asking for help or when you reject their idea outright.
- The humor is mostly in the contrast. A horrific event Ghibi’d. Also how impressive it is. The AI can understand the image well enough to change proportions among other things
- Art isn’t over. AI can’t actually make art. I promise you, it will pass. Films will still be made by artists. Paintings will still be bought and sold. Losers will enjoy ai garbage. That ai song was ass.
- Saying musicians are done is a crazy take to me. If people rely on AI to the point where they aren’t creating much of anything or nothing then it will sound redundant and like something you’ve already heard. Not to mention I instantly recognize the sound of AI because it doesn’t sound right. Even when the quality is greater, if it gets there, there will still be something intangible that the discerning listener will feel missing. That’s not to say it won’t sometimes be used well. And right now it’s great for a joke at times. At the end of the day, people are fans of real human beings for the most part. And yeah, artist may be able to cheat, but many won’t because they are making art for the enjoyment of the process, and those types will likely have better taste anyway. For sure many are using this as a reason to give up or not even start trying at all. That’s fine because they were doing it for the wrong reason anyway.
- Image of the guy on the phone was random and hilarious. To those wondering: that was a still from a live broadcast of a father, the guy on the phone, seconds before he kills the guy in the foreground on live air. I believe that fellow harmed the guys child in the original story, it’s decades old now
- AI art and image is one thing, but what really baffle me is how it can do music flawlessly. Music as a certain “language” to it so it can actually sound good and coherent and AI also does it with rhythm and the “language” of the music actually has a coherent and smooth flow to it that actually make sense, this is the craziest thing to me.
