- I’d rather just NOT give colleges federal funding anymore. It’s ridiculous at this point.
- Why the hell are private universities receiving so much taxpayers money
- No private college or university should get any government funding at all. It is one the reasons tuition is soaring. Also stop government lending for college education as well.
- Giving any tax dollars to a for profit business while there are homeless veterans out here is unacceptable.
- I don’t want to fund colleges anymore. Not even community colleges or state colleges.
- College is paid for by the people w taxes yet they have to play again with tuition, room and board etc… stop the madness and defund them all
- With this much federal funding, college should be free. WTF?!?
- Why are we giving hundreds of millions of dollars to these universities and these kids pay out the ass for tuition and room and board and all that crap?
- WHY DO THEY GET ANY FEDERAL FUNDING??? That is TAXPAYER FUNDING for the wealthiest academic institutions in America. I’d rather keep my money.
- I work at a university and it’s still in full effect. Office of diversity equity and inclusion is still there still functioning still has personnel. And the best part is while the students are here they can vote they can vote in our local elections. Probably tells you which state I’m from but yeah people not from this country can vote for our local elections while they’re here in college. And the one I work at gets 3 billion federal dollars a year.
- This is about crimes being committed particularly targeting Jewish students but to a lesser extent other students on these campuses. You don’t have to go into a 5 minute tangent both sidesing it every time Jewish Americans being targeted comes up. This isn’t about laws “protecting one specific group of people from criticism.”
- In the United States, there are maybe a few that DON’T rely on Federal funding. Most are religious and actually A LOT cheaper than the rest.
