- Congress cannot determine what is classified and what is not. Only the president has the sole authority to determine what is and isn’t classified.

- Having had high level security clearance myself in the USMC and reading the text they are crying about there is literally NOTHING in it that put Americans in harms way, or otherwise devulveged any secrets! Was it wrong, yes, was it wrong to the level they have taken it, NOT A CHANCE IN HELL!

- Here is a good question, Does Jeffrey Goldberg have a security clearance, or does he even know what determines classification?
- The obvious question to me is, why didn’t Goldberg upon receiving the first message, make his presence known? He willfully eavesdropped on a conversation he didn’t think he should have been privileged. If he thought he had actually heard attack planning, he should have said something so the plans could be changed. If he is to be believed, then it is HIM that put lives in jeopardy.
- If the information was classified, then the reporter released classified information. Put him in jail. If it is not classified, then it is just a mistake and we move on. Now, if there is some way to prove that the contact on the person’s phone was modified to have a different phone number inserted, or the contact was added and replaced a like named contact. Then we have a serious case of tampering that again will put someone in jail.
- The messages have been released. Not something that should have been said in front of a media personality, but nothing classified. It’s a mess up, to be sure. But the reality question is 100% just, “how did he get invited”? And is the only question that needs answered.
