- We have former gay-rights activists who marched for gay rights and the like back in 2008, whom outright say “if I knew this is where this activism would lead, I would have never marched.”
- The norms of society that existed prior to the 1960s, we’re put there for a reason. Conservatives pointed this out, and have continued to point this out, and it turns out the wisdom of the past actually has some merit.
- The very first time I listened to Rush Limbaugh was sometime in the mid-1990s. He was talking about two things…How California was handling the homeless problem and how California was handling their forestry maintenance. The refusal to clean up the underbrush. He 100% nailed what was going to happen. He was 30 years ahead of the outcome.

- I was one of the people who thought the religious right was being crazy back then, and wow, was I wrong. What they said seemed like it could never have. Sorry to those who were right and called crazy. I was wrong, and you were right.
- When I was a kid (back in the 80’s) the term “gender” was the polite way to say “sex” when referring to the biological sex of individuals. It was universally understood that they meant the same thing. My mother was an RN and she was the one who taught me these things. She would be utterly appalled at what has become of the medical profession were she alive today.
- When same sex marriage was being pushed in the early 2000’s, I was in my early 20’s, and I have to admit, the boomers were right. I didn’t have a problem with same sex marriage, as long as it didn’t interfere with my life. But that was their argument. They claimed, if same sex marriage was legalized, it wouldn’t stop there, and in time, it would interfere with my life. I’ll never forget them saying, “if they ever get their foot in the door, same sex marriage won’t be the last you’ll hear of it”. I assumed they were just a bunch of grumpy old men, set in their ways. Boy, was I wrong!!
- I used to be in the “just let them get married” crowd, thinking that would make them go away. How wrong I was! Now I’m against everything. I’m for refilling the closet now.
- There is a reason the LGB wants to remove from the T and the plus plus. The LGB had little to do with this madness. All the lgb wanted was equal rights, not special rights. The Ts and the Plus Plus are the ones who went stupid with this. Kinda why the lgb have shifted more to the conservative side.
