- Please listen. Scott is right about this. You don’t want this Lithium Ion battery storage facilities anywhere near you. Here is one many miles from me and on the other side of a mountain range and still we were affected by the fire.

Such events underscore the need for proper storage to prevent fire spread, especially in residential areas where homes are closely spaced. – Bobbi
- Not just New York City, it’s coming to Brooklyn, Queens, North Shore, Long island all of it. Most often in places where they plan on bringing offshore wind energy in to land. Also, they use the excuse of a battery to remove a diesel or gas peaker plant. All done in the dark of night by the promise that it will be dispatchable. The reality is they only work for four hours and then they take 48 to recharge on the grid no matter what the energy source is. It’s a $$$ grab because they’re getting 50% tax rebate on the cost of construction. Part of the energy transition unfortunately the part that could kill us . Within less than a minute, the hydrogen fluoride gases heat to 750°. Once they start, thermal runaway creates the nightmare, we saw at Moss Landing. Thank you @ScottLoBaido for bringing attention to this. I’ve been screaming about these things for years.
