They – charge more. They – get paid a percentage of that, that’s still so much more than cost. They, write off ALL that they charge and “don’t get” and then a for-profit becomes a non-profit on paper without the classification. Miss genx
The hospital bill is 5100, that doesn’t mean they get 5100. They get an agreed upon % of whatever they (insurance company), has contracted with the hospital. The hospital will probably get like 1k which is still better than 700. Most people don’t understand this
