- Denver is that bad? I had no clue. That’s LA style right there…. You know. like Venice Beach which used to be a nice stroll along the beach. Now, no one of any intelligence goes down there. This all needs some Hoover style of vacuuming up. I’m tired of it. And I won’t put my kids in danger by going to these places.
- Agreed. And I think I know why they do it. It’s not entirely out of ignorance. There’s a pattern.

- Colorado used to be a place we enjoyed visiting, especially for recreational purposes, camping, fishing, etc. We avoid Denver for the most part and I new it was going downhill with drugs and gangs, but has it really gotten this bad? – Wally57
- Downtown Denver is unsafe for the reasons described here. This tik-tokker might not be from Denver but she got it generally correct. Many businesses have left and downtown is depressing. It may bounce back one day because the bones are good but I would never suggest it for a visit. – Daniel Carson
