Earlier, President Trump said, “We want to have a Post Office that works well and doesn’t lose massive amounts of money … It’ll remain the Postal Service, and I think it’ll operate a lot better than it has been over the years.”

• Ban mail-in voting! USPS has been at the heart of many election interference scandals over the years.
• Anything would be an upgrade. I’m sick of lost mail, mail delivered to incorrect address, putting stop payments on checks, returned mail that clearly had a legible and legitimate address, etc. UPS and Fed-Ex are a nightmare too. They all need some stiff competition.
• Fixing the post office and enabling it to serve small and local businesses at parity with big box retailers, many of which built their fortunes with the USPS, would be a huge boon to local economies across the United States.
• I’ve said for decades, immediately fire 10% of the postal workforce. Everyone has seen postal employees working. You can’t tell me they can’t work 10% harder to make up for it.
• He is auditing the ENTIRE government. This is the greatest move by a president ever!!! We have never seen this in our lives. Streamline and make the government lean and mean.
• Twice I have had packages lost by USPS, tracking clearly showed it was put on the truck out for delivery that day, but never delivered. Try to talk to the post office, they won’t do anything about it. You have to get a refund from who sent it. They make zero effort
• Small towns are required to send local mail to large city processing centers only to be sent back to the same small towns for local delivery. My sister’s small town is 150 miles from the center. Mail is delayed, lost and stolen during the inefficient processing journey
• Whoa, Trump’s shaking things up big time! Firing the USPS board and merging it with Commerce to stop the cash bleed—sounds like he’s dead serious about making it run smoother than ever!
• Those morons actually endorsed Kamala for President. Not surprised he’s doing something but it needs to be merged with FedEx or they’ll just continue to suck – Jonesey
• I’ve lived in a lot of different places. My experience has been that the ineptitude and laziness of USPS employees is directly proportional to how close they are to urban areas. Rural area PO employees are friendly, helpful, hard-working, and competent.
• Good it’s the worst post office in the world. Pigeons are more reliable than our post office! I’m sick and tired of paying a fortune for a single stamp and I’m tired of the post office posting it’s is closed half the time! Even during normal working hours … it should be open five days a week and at least the normal times it’s supposed to be! Why is there government running the post office in deficit? There must be fraud! And why do they only have one person on staff! And every year the postmaster has the nerve to raise the postage rates on all of us! So they get paid for giving all of a citizens less service …. plus crappy service and they don’t even have to be there half the time and they all still collect a paycheck. This is terrible that hard-working Americans have had to stand for this garbage I’ll never understand how private companies like Fed X and Amazon and UPS can do it for less and on time.
