Vance nails it—why should U.S. taxpayers foot Germany’s defense bill while they jail people for tweets? Free speech matters, and Europe needs to step up, not double down on censorship.

VP Vance is right. Why would the American taxpayer want to pay to defend a country that arrest people for thought crimes(Germany)? That’s like saying the American people should defend totalitarian China! He’s right, if we don’t have shared values, then what do we have?

All of Europe is subsidized by the might of the American military. Yet they are persecuting their own people. Americans do not stand for the persecution of freedom of speech. Europe has forgotten to protect and serve their native population, allowing unchecked migration to harm women and children. America needs to break ties with Europe.
The German government does not deserve US military protection. Only 80 years after Germany was destroyed, in learning the lesson that the world ultimately rejects tyranny, their descendants are forgetting that lesson.

Instead of just talking about the thousands of American troops in Germany, why not do something about it. Close the US bases in Germany. They are a vestige of a cold war which ended long ago and a waste of taxpayer money.
