Elizabeth Warren is such a fraud. As goofy as the Pocahontas nickname is, the reason she got it was because she lied. She is a pathological liar. Seems she forgets the internet can fact check all the nonsense she says these days.
This is almost as funny as she had the DNA guy on speakerphone and he blew up her Indian hoax live. Mr Positive

Warren is a scam all by herself, but that being said, the Federal Reserve System is also a scam. Article I Section 8 Clause 5 says that Congress shall “coin” (i.e. create) the money, but the FRA has codified the money creation powers over to Federal Reserve private member banks. ST Keller
How does Warren even stay in office? Even as a liberal progressive, surely you realized this clown has torched all of her credibility, why not get someone else in that seat?
Why is Warren such a staunch advocate for CFPB? One connection seems to be, it’s her baby, & as a prominent voice there she coincidentally has received big bank campaigns donations.. Is that the grift? stand up some bastion of virtue, get paid to make it work for donors?
Americans need to know the truth. All legitimate bank consumer protection regulatory/examination activities of the CFPB were previously conducted effectively by the OCC, FDIC, Federal Reserve and state banking supervisors —until Senator Warren using the financial crisis as a veil concocted the CFPB, essentially an uncontrolled rogue agency not under Administration or Congressional oversight, stripping the legitimate regulatory bodies of their longstanding statutory authority over consumer compliance. The result has been overly aggressive regulatory burden on U.S. banks, increased costs to consumers and the proliferation of the woke agenda in the banking industry. The CFPB needs to be wound down, with all its legitimate regulatory and supervision responsibilities reverted back to the legacy agencies.
Typical “we need more government to fix everything” logic. Unfortunately I’m seeing a lot of good people on the left even falling for this one on CFPB. More regulations crush those community banks I might add, a freer marked in the banking world would do more to protect consumers than any of this nonsense.
Most banks, American and foreign, are regulated by the state they are in, then a federal regulator like the OCC, FRB and if applicable FDIC and SEC. Complaints can go to the regulators. I generally had to deal with more than one regulator at a time, sometimes 2, usually 3 in a year.
At today’s Federal Reserve hearing, her arguments fell apart in under two minutes when faced with cold, hard facts. She’s been pushing misinformation, but when challenged, she had no real answers.
