She also ignored that only 17% of Republicans want Musk to have no influence at all. In other words, most still back him in some capacity. Maddow’s reporting is so dishonest that it’s laughable.

- Notice how Trump is hardly mentioned most of the time now. These guys are actually very good. I mean the greatest scandals, theft, and uncovering of the century and the media is talking about Elon and a kid that said something on social media that he shouldn’t have (wow, that’s something that doesn’t happen every day).

- If that’s what the YouGov poll says then I say the YouGov poll is flawed. I am scrolling through X everyday and the support for Elon Musk is huge. There is no way Republican support has gone from 47% to 26% a 21% drop. Sorry, this doesn’t pass the smell test. Most Republicans applaud what the DoGE team has done with USAID We appreciate the fraud and waste being shut down. With that level of success, why would Republicans abandon Elon Musk and Donald Trump. My own feeling is that Elon Musk favorability rating has gone up not down. Suck on that Rachel Maddow.
- Note how she is emphasizing “A lot.” I’m just thinking from my own perspective, as an average day American (who actually takes polls), and i see “Would you be ok to give Elon Musk “A lot” of influence?” I’d say no, not a lot. You’d have to define the level of influence. 100 percent dishonest, and these people know they’re playing word politics to push a narrative. Especially this individual.
- Honestly, Vigilant, I don’t buy that poll. I’m ecstatic. The CCP hacked and hung around in the Treasury for over a week in late 2024. There is no risk. Most righties LOVE what is happening, and plenty of lefties are pissed too. The poll is not accurate. We ALL LOVE ELON. PS. We are NOT fans. We support him, non-blue-check-fake-Elons.
