- Court OKs Barring High IQs for Cops Conn., Sept. 8, 2000 — A man whose bid to become a police officer was rejected after he scored too high on an intelligence test has lost an appeal in his federal lawsuit against the city. The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York upheld a lower court’s decision that the city did not discriminate against Robert Jordan because the same standards were applied to everyone who took the test.

- I’ve personally experienced this kind of dumb fuckery from police officers in my hometown. The worst part is that their incompetence is consistently shielded by every official you’d turn to for justice. The entire system is broken!
- This is pathetic. You don’t charge someone if you don’t know the damn law. You carry the book of statutes so you can look it up, and if you can’t find it you ask you Sgt to. If he can’t find it, and you have no other charges you let them go period. Good cops know and follow the statutes.

Over time, this has led to a societal conditioning where citizens are inclined to set aside their constitutional rights in deference to authority figures, symbolized here as those in “uniform.” This situation presents a significant debate regarding whether such outcomes are intentional or merely a byproduct of systemic oversight. Regardless of intent, the result is clear: there is a widespread acceptance of these practices despite their questionable legal standing. The ease with which individuals can be conditioned and controlled is both remarkable and alarming. Even when these issues are brought to light, denial from the public often serves as testament to the effectiveness of this conditioning. The process of shaping public behavior and thought, akin to programming, requires years, if not decades, and not everyone may recognize or escape this conditioning. Some individuals, deeply embedded within this “matrix” of thought, might never see beyond it, presenting a significant challenge for societal change and awareness.
- The cringe of this is so fecking painful. I have always maintained that law enforcement personnel should be required to go through four years of education and training(Bachelors of Science), that law administrative personnel go through six to eight years. (Masters and Doctorates)
- I spent many years in LE. This video is pathetic and sad. Not unhappy kind of sad, sad as in pitiful. These are very basic questions being asked, unable to be answered. Call comes in of a person filming a Gov building, great… Send a car to check it out. Talk to the person for a minute or so, realize there is no threat and no crime. Bid them a good day. As for the law, the questions posed are basic academy knowledge.
- What was the result of this? Did either officer get fired is all I want to know. Considering the system protecting officers who violate the public’s rights. I would say no. And this is part of how people are duped into becoming democrats. Just like I was in my youth.
