They went from being the party of peace to being the party of endless wars They went from being the party of health to literally demonizing RFK for suggesting that science was not fixed (by definition) They went from being the party of free speech to being the party that led the most massive censorship industrialization in the history of the world. I am friends with some incredible democrats. But their party left them behind and swerved off the far left side of the map.
