- Biden didn’t pardon himself because he didn’t think he needed to, since no DC prosecutor would ever indict him and if that somehow happened, no DC jury would ever convict him.
- Looking into this boondoggle myself and found out 1 thing. If summoned to a hearing, the pardoned person no longer has 5th amendment protection. A pardon takes away 5th amendment protection. So, maybe hearings of some sort would provide connections and leads to other things. I dunno about the frustration level of trying this tack, but I’d like to see all of the pardoned sweating it out in front of the Nation. – Winner
- If in the course of investigation these people are called to testify and aren’t honest, they can be charged with perjury. That’s a start. Also, if they can be charged for anything in State courts, their pardons aren’t covered.
- There are a lot of nuances to be addressed here but regardless of cost & outcome, the American people deserve to know if our VP or President were bribed through an elaborate scheme and which country it was and what was sold as influence. PERIOD!
