- Classic Trumpenomics! He knew buying Greenland outright wasn’t realistic, but he’s opened the door to get what he wants. Say what you will about him, he knows how to make a deal.
- They are smart to capitalise on the attention, especially if their people want to be independent from Denmark. Doesnt mean they have to become an U.S.A state to be of value either.
- The U.S. could invest in Greenland’s infrastructure, particularly in renewable energy and mining industries, in exchange for expanded access to its natural resources and Arctic trade routes. Strengthening military cooperation, particularly through U.S. presence at Thule Air Base, would also bolster Arctic security, benefiting both U.S. and Greenlandic interests in maintaining regional stability.
