Dental Fluorosis: Overexposure to fluoride during tooth development can lead to dental fluorosis, characterized by changes in tooth enamel ranging from barely noticeable white spots to staining and pitting. Harvard Chan School of Public Health
Skeletal Fluorosis: Long-term ingestion of high fluoride levels can result in skeletal fluorosis, a condition that alters bone structure, leading to pain and damage to bones and joints.
Potential Neurodevelopmental Effects: Some studies suggest that elevated fluoride exposure may be linked to lower IQ in children. A 2024 report by the National Toxicology Program indicated a “moderate confidence” in the association between high fluoride levels and decreased IQ in children. Health.com
Bone Fractures: Excessive fluoride intake has been associated with an increased risk of bone fractures, particularly in populations consuming water with naturally high fluoride concentrations.
Thyroid Function: High fluoride exposure may impair thyroid function, especially in individuals with iodine deficiency, potentially leading to hypothyroidism.

Thank you for your leadership on this issue, Dr. Ladapo. I have posted below some deposition clips from my court case against the EPA where CDC’s representative admits that fluoride provides no benefits to the teeth when the baby is in the womb, or early months or infancy – which is a period of life when the brain has a heightened vulnerability to fluoride’s neurological effects. In short, there is a risk to this vulnerable population, without any offsetting benefit. – Michael Connett
Thank you!! I refused to let my children ingest fluoride. This included the painting of fluoride on their teeth at the dentist. All are adults now and have never had a cavity. This issue has been around for years, and those concerned about it have been shunned. Lee Mack
It never made an ounce of sense to me that by Fluorinating the water supply, the government was essentially arguing that Fluoride was the only chemical that was totally dose independent. Any other supplement or drug is administered based on size, sex, route of administration, etc. By carpet bombing Fluoride in drinking water at a fixed concentration, none of that was taken into account. If you’re someone who likes drinking water, you just get multiple times more Fluoride, with no thought given to dose, which is absurd. – Strategic Depth
