Did Kamala Become Nominee Because of …Mark Halperin?

According to Mark Halperin the Democrats choose Kamala Harris to be their nominee even though they, and especially Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi, did NOT want her to be the nominee. The Democrats, and Obama-Pelosi, were correct in their initial reluctance to choose Kamala as the nominee because she has had a HORRIBLE track record in the past as a candidate. The utterly dislikeable Kamala was such a poor candidate that in 2019 she dropped out of the presidential primary race BEFORE the Iowa primary. So why would they choose such as disaster of a candidate to be their nominee in 2024? According to Mark Halperin it was because the Democrats were under pressure NOT to prove him right again after he CORRECTLY predicted the withdrawal of Sleepy Joe Biden from the presidential race on the weekend that it actually did happen and the Democrats did not want Halperin to also be right about Joe Biden NOT endorsing Kamala. Is this just a big ego trip fantasy by Halperin? I think not because the Democrats are just that childishly foolish as to want to deny the satisfaction to Halperin of being proved right once again so they chose Kamala just to show him up as well as to show they didn’t plan a Kamala purge in advance. Remember, leading up to his withdrawal many Democrats who were urging him to leave the race were suggesting an open convention to choose a nominee which meant someone other than the inept Kamala. As a result we owe Mark Halperin a big debt of gratitude for inadvertently forcing Biden to choose an absolutely horrible candidate who is now sinking in the polls.
