Not only did he spend time in the parking lot with each person and take pictures because they wouldn’t let him inside, he walked in and paid for the bill for the people that walked out due to the restaurant not allowing him to come in and eat.

Vance ended up staying in the parking lot and meeting with supporters. He also paid for their tabs. “We paid for everybody’s food. We gave him a nice tip. Primanti Bros. operates 44 locations across Pennsylvania—restaurants you might want to avoid from now on. Vance was there to meet Anissa Zappala and other supporters, but Primanti Bros. threatened to call the police if he entered. Ever the statesman, Vance picked up the tab, tipped the staff, and reminded them there would be no taxes on tips under a Trump administration. Earlier this week, a similar case of political bias unfolded when Airbnb evicted election workers from a Pennsylvania property upon learning they were Republicans. If businesses want to discriminate based on politics, they should be required to advertise that policy clearly online and at their doorsteps.
