Doubling down against the American people is not appealing to the millions of Americans who no longer trust your leadership or how you apply the rule of law. Evaporated trust between the American people and those who are suppose to provide for American’s safety and security is the greatest national security threat facing America today. One of the most influential election meddling operations ever seen, which surveys say probably helped hand Joe Biden the White House in 2020, was cooked up by the FBI. Yep, that’s right, the same FBI that’s supposed to be catching bad guys. And guess who helped? The CIA, along with a bunch of ex-intelligence officials and the media. Talk about teamwork!
This all went down when some not-so-great details about the Biden family surfaced, thanks to a laptop Hunter Biden left behind at a repair shop. The FBI swooped in and told the media it was “Russian disinformation,” which, spoiler alert, wasn’t true. The CIA and other intel types backed them up, and just like that, the story got buried.
Fast forward to today, and President Donald Trump is facing a mountain of legal cases, most cooked up by Democrats, some of whom even campaigned with promises to “get” him. Meanwhile, Attorney General Merrick Garland, Biden’s right-hand man, is out here saying the DOJ doesn’t bend to politics. “No way, not us,” he insists.
The Associated Press, a Leftist media outlet that’s been around forever, reported that Garland plans to squash any “conspiracy theories” about the DOJ being biased. This, despite the fact that FBI agents were caught plotting ways to block Trump’s presidency back in 2016. They were literally emailing each other about it, like some kind of secret spy club.
Back then, they used a stack of made-up dirt from Trump’s political opponent to open investigations into his campaign, and a special counsel later said, “Uh, yeah, there’s no proof of this ‘Russia collusion’ stuff.”
According to his prepared speech, Garland’s all fired up, claiming these “attacks” on his department are wild conspiracy theories, and they’re putting law enforcement in danger. He’ll tell DOJ employees that they’ve done a great job staying strong under pressure and that it’s “dangerous and outrageous” they even have to deal with this stuff.
Despite all this defense, Garland’s DOJ is still facing calls to explain why they seem so political. One prime example? Trump was indicted over a government documents mess that looks pretty similar to a case where Biden got off with barely a slap on the wrist.
Trump’s also been charged with a criminal conspiracy for talking about the 2020 election. Meanwhile, a New York prosecutor who actually ran for office promising to go after Trump hit him with 34 felony charges for business records. And another lawyer, who also campaigned on getting Trump, sued him for business practices that, according to experts, are pretty standard.
