SCOOP: I just received word that Schumer has a CODEL (Congressional Delegation) to Kiev planned for two weeks from now to celebrate his and McConnell’s Ukraine funding win. These trips take weeks of advanced planning to pull off. If this is all true, then it’s almost certain Schumer knew that even if the border deal failed, McConnell would always help him give Biden his war money without getting anything in return.
