The Supreme Court will NOT intervene before an appeals court regarding Trump’s claim he is immune from prosecution – suggesting President’s trial will be delayed. Special Prosecutor Jack Smith had hoped to expedite the case to the Supreme Court, bypassing the District Appeals Court in D.C. but, the Supreme Courts says the Smith must follow standard procedure. This is seen as a win for the Trump legal team and may interfere with Jack Smith’s March 4, 2024 D.C. trial start date. Trish Regan reports live.
