Elon Musk confirms the Trending List was highly manipulated in order to artificially drive news cycles around specific topics (and to suppress others) under Twitter’s previous ownership. But he didn’t mention any specifics about which topics were manually inserted or shadow-banned from Trending. Can @shellenberger @mtaibbi or others release another batch of the Twitter Files containing internal conversations of the editors and executives to shed some light on this? @ElonMusk That’s a powerful propaganda tool which was obviously used, and the American people should know the specific details about this to get a more comprehensive view of how the platform was covertly used to shape the culture and news cycles. Thanks.

I can’t help but notice the complete absence of mainstream conservative pundits from the chorus of people who encouraged others to vote for Alex Jones’ return to X, and missing from noting the victory for free speech once Elon restored his account.
