Dramatic video captured the moment a fast-acting Florida cop arrested a carjacker who drove off in a father’s pickup truck with two young kids still inside. The father flagged down Deputy Jonathan Pazmino Alvarez in Tampa at 6:42 p.m. Monday after his vehicle was stolen along with his two children, ages 4 and 8, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said. “Alvarez immediately pursued the 2011 white Chevrolet Silverado, and without losing sight of the vehicle, was able to conduct a traffic stop within just a few minutes,” it said in a statement. “Stop the truck, now! Pull into the parking lot,” the deputy yells as he approaches the alleged carjacker, identified as Kevin Smith. One of the kids yells out that the man had stolen the vehicle.
