Sep 11, 2022 China and Russia are conducting joint live-fire military drills in Russia’s far east region, not far from the coast of Japan. Japan has protested the drills, which take place on disputed islands that Russia controls but Japan claims. In this episode of China Uncensored, we look at what the drills aim to achieve, how deep the two countries’ military alliance goes, and whether Russia would help China invade Taiwan.
