It’s ironic that the last military operation by the US in Afghanistan involves a drone strike against unarmed civilians including small children.
There needs to be accountability.

All senior military leadership who made the decisons to conduct the airstrike must be brought up on charges and proceed with a Courts Martial. A special counsel must be appointed to investigate senior political leadership who ordered the strike. If the federal DOJ will not appoint a special counsel all individual states whose borders had individuals involved in this strike against unarmed civilians should appoint a special counsel. I am not a lawyer or a Constitutional sholar but it is far past time for the individual States of this republic to exercise their power.
